Yellowstone 2024 Limited Edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Yellowstone 2024 Limited Edition opens with pear, ripe apple, panela sugar and leather aromas. The producer describes a soft, thick texture carrying honey, ripe stone fruit and citrus, with caramel and vanilla underneath. Honey, pear, butterscotch and leather continue into the finish. This edition gives bourbon drinkers a fruit-focused expression shaped by two kinds of grape-spirit cask.

Begin with a small neat pour to compare the orchard-fruit aroma with the honeyed palate. Add water a few drops at a time if you prefer, tasting between additions. A plain shortbread biscuit is a pairing to try alongside the caramel and vanilla notes without adding another strong fruit flavor.

How it’s made: Created by Limestone Branch Distillery’s Stephen Beam, the 2024 Kentucky bourbon release blends seven-year and seventeen-year bourbons. The blend receives a double finish in French brandy and cognac casks and is bottled at 101 proof, or 50.5% ABV.
