Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Rye Whiskey 750ml (Pre-Order)

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Rye applies the distillery's second-barrel finishing method to Kentucky straight rye whiskey. After initial maturation, the rye enters another new oak barrel that is heavily toasted and lightly charred, building sweet-oak depth without obscuring the grain's naturally spicy, herbal character.

Seasoned leather, cedar, dark fruit, toasted nuts, chocolate, and sweet oak lead the aroma. Baking spice, roasted coffee, dark fruit, rye spice, and rich oak carry the palate into a long finish of dark caramel, molasses, dried fruit, and toasted wood. Selected by Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall, it is bottled at 45.2% ABV (90.4 proof) in 750ml.
