Tri Carragh Tamnavulin 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL

Distilled at Tamnavulin in Speyside in 2011, this 12-year-old single malt spent more than 11 years in an ex-bourbon cask before a nine-month finish in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead.

The cask finish brings chocolate ganache and lemon-icing citrus on the nose, with a light floral lift. Light tannins and peppery spice frame a chocolate-orange note on the palate, while a touch of water makes the character creamier and sweeter. Bottled as Tri Carragh Release 04, this is an outturn of 314 bottles. 700mL, 56.8% ABV.
