Suntory Toki Japanese Whisky

Suntory Toki Japanese Whisky brings basil, green apple and honey to the nose in the producer’s notes. Grapefruit, green grape, peppermint and thyme follow on the palate, ending with gentle sweetness, vanilla oak, white pepper and ginger. The combination of citrus and herbs gives you a different direction from a blend focused on dried fruit and heavier oak notes.

The producer recommends a chilled Japanese highball. Chill the glass, whisky and soda beforehand, use good ice, then pour the soda gently. Try a lemon peel or a small piece of grapefruit peel as garnish, adjusting the whisky-to-soda ratio to your own preference. Keep a small neat pour beside it to compare the flavors before mixing.

How it’s made: Toki is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from Suntory’s Hakushu, Yamazaki and Chita distilleries in Japan, combining their different styles in one expression.
