Special Operations Salute D-Day 80th Anniversary Air Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

The Air edition of Special Operations Salute commemorates the 80th anniversary of D-Day with artwork devoted to the airborne forces of Operation Overlord. Heritage Distilling mashed, fermented, distilled, and aged this straight bourbon in Washington for more than five years before bottling it at 50.5% ABV (101 proof).

Sweet wheat, toasted toffee, nuttiness, vanilla, and caramel lead the aroma. Dried apricot, toasted oak, cinnamon, leather, and almond husk follow on the palate, giving the bourbon a firm, layered character. The 750ml keepsake bottle carries the release-specific Air presentation.
