Shinobu Pure Malt Mizunara Lightly Peated 10 Year 750ml

Mizunara oak gives this 10-year Japanese pure malt its defining accent after maturation in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. The result draws together the distillery’s malt-led character with the distinctive influence of Japanese oak.

Producer-attributed notes open with fresh wood and vanilla, then move through floral nectar, maltose, a touch of citrus, Mizunara oak, and coffee bean. The finish is medium and woody, returning to maltose sweetness. Bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof) in a 750ml presentation, it is an age-stated Japanese whisky shaped by Mizunara finishing.
