Rare Character Exceptional Topflight Charred Oak 2011 750ml

Rare Character Exceptional Topflight Charred Oak 2011 750ml is a whiskey selected under Rare Character's Exceptional Topflight series. The Charred Oak 2011 expression is bottled at 51.35% ABV, or 102.7 proof, in a 750ml format. Its presentation places the 2011 designation and charred-oak profile at the center of the bottling.

The aroma opens with toasted oak, caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, and baking spice. The palate adds butterscotch, roasted malt, toasted oak, and gentle spice before a long, warming finish of oak, sweet malt, and soft spice. The higher bottling strength supports a concentrated, oak-led profile while the caramel, vanilla, and malt notes provide a sweeter counterpoint.
