Method and Madness Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey 700 mL

Matured in sherry and American barrels, then finished in French chestnut, this Method and Madness release takes Irish single pot still whiskey in an uncommon direction. The chestnut finish is the defining detail: a deliberate departure from traditional oak at Midleton.

The official tasting notes open with red liquorice laces, fresh rosemary, mint, and grated root ginger. Sweet fruit and spice lead into cinnamon toast and ripe banana, followed by aromatic green tea, dissipating fruit and spice, and a rich wood finish. Bottled at 46% ABV in a 700 mL format.
