J. Lohr's 2020 Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Paso Robles, led by the estate's Seven Oaks vineyard and the Sinclair and Jones ranches. Twelve months in American oak barrels, 18% new, brings toasted pastry, hazelnut, and vanilla around ripe black-cherry and currant aromas.

Big, juicy red-fruit flavors fill the palate, while softly textured tannins carry the wine into a long, gratifying finish. The 2020 blend is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Petite Sirah, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Bottled at 13.9% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
