Ilegal Mezcal Reposado 375ml

Ilegal Mezcal Reposado 375ml is an artisanal mezcal made from 100% Espadín agave in Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is roasted in earthen pits, naturally fermented, and double distilled before the reposado is aged to taste for six months in a combination of new and used American oak medium-char barrels. Bottled at 40% ABV, this half-bottle preserves the producer’s standard Reposado expression.

The nose offers caramelized pear and bitter orange. On the palate, clove and butterscotch meet hints of vanilla, with a velvety texture that suits slow sipping. The measured oak influence complements the cooked agave character while retaining the producer’s softly smoky mezcal profile.
