El Jolgorio Barril Mezcal

El Jolgorio Barril Mezcal is an artisanal Oaxacan mezcal made from wild Barril agave, a member of the Karwinskii family. Barril grows at high elevations and develops an elongated, stalk-shaped heart with dense sugars and relatively little moisture. This 750ml expression is bottled at 48.6% ABV.

The profile balances sweetness, citrus, and mineral character within a smoky, elegant frame. Barril's dense agave heart and low moisture are associated with the complexity highlighted for this expression, while the higher bottling strength keeps the agave character prominent. It is a focused, single-agave mezcal for drinkers exploring the distinctive shape and flavor profile of Oaxacan Barril.
