Buchanan's Scotch Special Reserve 18 Year (750ml)

Bright flavors of freshly baked barley bread, salted lemon, and glazed pastry show prominently in this stately blend. The palate is refined and deftly balances the luscious sweetness of the barrel with toasted cereal character of the grain.(UB Collection,Finalist,Tried & True Award)- Bronze/copper color, with orange core highlights. Very toasty, doughy, yeasty aroma at first that expands to include cocoa, brown sugar later on. Flavor profile is multilayered, caramelized onion-like, burnt, charcoal-like, toasty yet fruity. Superb blending of the highest order.
