The Vintner's Trilogy from Bowmore showcases the impact of lengthy wine-cask-finishes on the terrific Islay single malt. Bowmore 26 Year Old French Oak Barrique Aged Single Malt was double matured, first for 13 years in ex-bourbon barrels,ÿbefore being moved over to French oak barriques (that previously held wine) for the remaining 13 years.ÿ This whisky is aÿtriumph of masterful distillation that is non-chill filtered and bottled at cask strength. Its perfectly balanced notesÿof tropical fruit, oak spiced smoke and dark chocolate giveÿway to a long lasting, mouth-watering finish and a hint of salt on the lips.

Tasting Notes:ÿ

Aroma: Redcurrant jam, camphor oil, earthy smoke and cherry pie, with the addition of water spiced oak, notes of tropical fruits of papaya and mango with honey sweetness.

Taste: Mouth coating, oak spiced smoke and dark chocolate.
