Eigashima Shuzo’s Akashi Goju 50 takes the house blended Akashi whisky in a sherry-cask-finished release bottled at 50% ABV. The distillery works beside Osaka Bay in Akashi, where its warm coastal climate helps shape its whiskies; it is operated by the family’s ninth generation.

High Road Spirits describes a balance of floral sweetness, saline dryness, and gentle smoke, giving the whisky a clear progression from fragrant opening notes through a dry, coastal middle to restrained smoke. The blend brings malt and grain together while the sherry-cask finish provides the defining point of difference. A 750 mL bottle at 50% ABV.
